Kashmir Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Srinagar | Welcome to The Paradise on Earth

Arrival at Srinagar Airport. Meet our Representative.
You will then be transferred to the hotel in Srinagar. Once you get checked in, take some rest after the tiresome journey. Later, visit one of the Mughal Gardens Shalimar Garden or Nishat Garden and Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.(Meals included- Dinner)

Day 2 Srinagar to Pahalgam | A Quiet Little Town Adorned with a blanket of Pine Trees and Crystal-Clear Rivers

Wake up to a fabulous view of the snow-capped mountains, enjoy a hearty breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
Proceed Towards Pahalgam, After reaching head towards Aru Valley, which is a small village that is famous for its scenic beauty and here you can indulge in various adventure activities.
Then proceed towards one of the most popular tourist destinations, the Betaab Valley, which offers stunning views of Lidder River surrounded by heavenly natural charm.
Call it a day. Overnight in Pahalgam.(Meals included- Breakfast & Dinner)
Note-For Aru Valley and Betaab Valley at Pahalgam sightseeing, our vehicle will take the guest to the taxi stand due to Taxi Union restriction. From there, the guest needs to hire local union cab for sightseeing at the direct payment basis.

Day 3 Drive to Gulmarg (120 Kms.) And Drung Waterfall

After having a filling breakfast, drive towards Tanmarg.
After reaching Tanmarg, have a visit to the Frozen Waterfall called as Drung Waterfall and then you will then be retiring for the day at the hotel in Tanmarg. (Meals included- Breakfast & Dinner).
Note– For reaching Drung Waterfall, Guest have to hire ATV ride at their own cost which may cost 2000-2500 per person.

Day 4 Gulmarg | The Meadow of Flowers where you can Enjoy the Second Highest Cable Car Ride in the World

Begin your day early with a delicious breakfast and prepare for upcoming adventures, proceed towards Gulmarg.
You can enjoy Gandola ride /cable car (at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Kongdoori and Aparwat. (Horseman Union does not allow Srinagar Taxi to pick/drop at Gandola, so you have to walk or hire pony.)
Enjoy the panoramic views floating above the valley and witness nature slowly unveiling its hidden beauty as you rise higher in the cable car.
In the evening, drive back to Srinagar After reaching, enjoy the Shikara ride in Beautiful Dal Lake.
You will then be transferred to a beautiful houseboat floating quietly on the crystal clear waters of Dal lake.
Have a delicious dinner and an overnight stay aboard the houseboat in Srinagar.(Meals included- Breakfast & Dinner).

Day 5 Excursion to Sonmarg | Walk around the Famed Golden Meadows of Sonamarg

After breakfast at the Houseboat, prepare yourself for the full-day excursion to the picturesque ‘Meadow of Gold’.
You can go ahead to enjoy sledging & other snow-related activities at the Thajiwas Glacier. You can also opt for a pony ride/sledging to the glacier for some fun in snow and ice with your family.(Hire Union Taxi at your own cost for sightseeing. Pony and Sledging is optional and chargeable {directly payable}Srinagar Taxi is not allowed here for sightseeing.)
Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel. Meals included- Breakfast & Dinner).
Note-For Sonmarg sightseeing, our vehicle will take the guest to the Sonmarg taxi stand. From there, the guest needs to hire a pony/local union cab for sightseeing. Thajwas Glacier, Zero Point at Sonmarg are not included in the tour, due to restrictions laid down by the local union.

Day 6 Departure From Srinagar | Bid Farewell to the Paradise Srinagar

Have breakfast, check out from the Hotel. You will then be dropped to Srinagar Airport. (Meals
included- Breakfast)

• 2 Nights accommodation on Double Occupancy Basis at Hotel in Srinagar.

• 1 Night accommodation on Double/Triple Occupancy Basis at Deluxe Houseboat.

• 1 Night accommodation on Double Occupancy Basis at Hotel in Pahalgam.

• 1 Night accommodation on Double Occupancy Basis at Hotel in Tanmarg.

• Complimentary 1 hour Shikara ride in Dal Lake.

• Transfer and Sightseeing as per the below tour Itinerary by Non A/C Vehicle.

• Meals MAPAI (Breakfast And Dinner, from Day1 Dinner to Day6 Breakfast)

• Airport pickup and drop.(only one time Group Transfers)

• All toll taxes, driver’s allowances, Fuel charges, interstate permit if necessary and all taxes.

• Air fair/Train fair.

• Any kind of personal expenses or optional tours, extra meals and beverages ordered, camera/video camera fee at sights, laundry, phone calls and medical expenses

• Any expenses caused by reasons beyond our control such as road blocks, accidents & any medical evacuations. Any flight/train delays or re-scheduling etc.

• Meals and all other services which are not mentioned in the aforementioned itinerary.

• Early check in or late check out.

• Pony Rides, Adventure Sports, Guide charges etc.

• Entry Tickets of different sights.

• Transport for Extra Local sightseeing by Local Union Cab where Srinagar Taxi Transport is not allowed.

• Travel Insurance and any other which is not mentioned in inclusions.

• Individual pickup and drop to Airport.

• Heater Facility.

Terms an conditions:-

• The Meal Plan is MAP i.e. Breakfast & Dinner. All properties have their own meal setup(it can be buffet or Thali system) & menu and we are not entitled to give our preferences. Kindly refrain from individually requesting for change in the Menu. All ala-carte orders/Mineral water/Tea/ coffee/Food/Drinks ordered separately are to be settled on a self payment basis.

• Only Veg Meals will be provided. Nonveg(if available at the Hotel) will be charged extra as per the Hotel Policy. If any Hotel is providing nonveg items in buffet, then one can enjoy Quality and taste of the food is not in control of Chakarghinni, so we are not responsible for that.

• Vehicle is for the use of travellers during the whole trip so kindly take care of it’s cleanliness. Kindly keep in mind that due to weather conditions, cleanliness of the vehicle can be compromised.

• During the trip, in certain area it can be extreme cold/hot/rainy. In this situation, traveller should be prepared at her own before commencing the trip.

• Hotels room can be on 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th floor and there will no facility of lift.

• Heater will be available on direct payment basis to the Hotel.

• Vehicle can be get delayed due to traffic or weather conditions or due to some other emergency. Your cooperation will be expected in such situations.

• Nonpayment of Trip Fee in Due time would be considered as cancellation.

• Kindly carry enough case as the Cards/UPI is not widely accepted and ATM’s are in non working conditions generally.

• Chakarghinni Reserves the right to take photographs/Videos of participants and use them for marketing/promotional activity. Any objection should be sent in writing before the commencement of the Tour. Any objection during or after the trip will not be entertained.

• Chakarghinni reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/ flights, cancellation/ re-routing of flights, closure of/ entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/ compensation claims arising out of this.

• Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks, and/or any factors beyond our control. 

• The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to change in the number of guests, hotel change, itinerary change, etc.

• Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.

• Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.

• Mineral Water, Tea in Room, etc. if ordered, will be  on a chargeable basis, you have to settle your personal room bill at the time of check-out.

• Mineral Water/  Tea/ Laundry/ Snacks /Tips have to be paid individually and is not part of the package.

• Carry your personal medicines

• Misbehaviour with any vendors/ locals, our representatives/ staff will not be tolerated. We expect humbleness, Cooperation & Tolerance if joining this group tour. 

• An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.

• Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.

• Rates can be changed if there is change in travel plan due to whatsoever the reason. 

• Flights rates if booked by organiser, would be charged as per actuals as per rates prevailing on the day of booking. The escalation in flight charges to be borne by the participant.

• While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

• Cost of deviation and cost of extension of the validity on your tour/ticket is not included.

• For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.

• Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in Delhi.

• If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Chakarghinni will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.

• During the trip, any area where the clients are staying or visiting get closed by the Government due to any reason, Chakarghinni will not be held responsible for the same. In this case, no refund/compensation claim/request will be entertained.

• During the trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Chakarghinni will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.

• During the trip, in case any traveller lost/got damaged his luggage or any precious thing, Chakarghinni will not be responsible for that. we would not be held liable for any refunds/ compensation claims arising out of this.

• Chakarghinni is not responsible for any personal loss/damage, any misshappening such as disease/accident/death/any mechanical fault/theft during the tour.

• Code of conduct: We expect all the participants to behave respectfully towards each other and team Chakarghinni or any vendors. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in your immediate removal from the trip without refund.

• Kindly do not forget to disclose your medical issues if any with the Tour Organizers at the time of booking so that necessary arrangements can be made wherever possible.

• Normal physical fitness is required to join this Trip as some walking is required to explore the places mentioned in the itinerary.

• The itinerary is subject to change.

Chakarghinni can only provide good accommodation, transport and Tour Manager but for making your trip memorable, a positive approach, healthy mindset and cooperation with the other co-travelers and Tour Manager/Tour Organizers is really important. Be polite with the locals, vendors, drivers and staff.

• Covid Vaccination Certificate(double dose) or RTPCR(Not more than 72 hours)

• Personal toiletries and medication (if any)

• Thermal inners, warm and comfortable clothes

• Slippers, crocs and comfortable good grip water resistant shoes.

• Water bottles, backpack, energy bars/snacks, etc.

• Mosquito & insect repellent

• Sanitizer and mask

• Sunscreen lotion, lip balm, wet wipes, toothbrush & toothpaste.

• Sunglasses

• Binoculars(if needed)

• Power bank & Camera( if needed)

• Cap or hat( if needed)

• Water bottle.

BOOKING ONE MONTH BEFORE THE TRIP.

• 50% of the amount to be paid at the time of the booking

• Balance amount to be paid 15 days prior to the starting date of the trip.​

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

Note: Written cancellation(received only on the mail) will be accepted on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Saturday / Sunday or public holidays will be considered on the next working day (Monday).

We reserve the right to cancel this trip at any time for any reason. In the event that we cancel the trip, you will be entitled to get 100% refund of the tour cost or the amount you had paid till the date. However, we are not responsible for any other costs or expenses such as travel expenses/flight/train ticket cancellation charge or expenses you may incur as a result of the cancellation.

If the trip is postponed or canceled due to Covid related norms, you will be extended a credit note for the amount paid, which can be used for future trips.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days

Booking Confirmation Policy

• The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

• Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed

Please notice that during journey certain risks and dangers may arise which are beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft, or other means of transportation; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Chakarghinni will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. While Chakarghinni will give our best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken, by agreeing to participate in a vacation and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold Chakarghinni harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. Chakarghinni is not responsible for such risks and dangers that may arise beyond our control. Payment of your deposit indicates you accept these risks and dangers and agree to hold Chakarghinni harmless for the same.
